Who you are dealing with

This site is operated by Kaevo Labs LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, with a registered address at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Kaevo Labs LLC, and "you" means the person or business buying from us.

By buying from this site or using anything you buy from it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not buy.

What you are buying

We sell three things.

• App subscriptions. A recurring right to use the Khidr app for as long as the subscription is paid and active. Khidr is live on the web at mykhidr.com. Priced at $8.99 per month or $59 per year, after a five day free trial.
• Digital products. Ebooks delivered as PDF files, priced at $20 each. These are one-time purchases, delivered by email.
• Studio services. Product design and front-end build work carried out for you under a separate written scope and quote, starting at $2,500 per project.

All prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax, VAT or similar tax that may be added at checkout depending on where you are.

Licence for digital downloads

When you buy an ebook, you are buying a licence to use it, not ownership of it. We keep all copyright and other intellectual property rights in the file and its contents.

Your licence is personal, or covers use inside one business if the buyer is a business. Under it you may:

• Read the file and store copies of it for your own use, or for use inside the single business that bought it.
• Print it for that same use.
• Apply what is in it in your own work, including work you are paid for.

You may not resell it, give it away, sublicense it, publish it, post it to a public or shared file store, upload it to a training data set, or distribute it in whole or in substantial part to anyone outside the person or business that bought it. If you want to buy copies for a wider team or a group of companies, email hello@kaevolabs.com and we will quote for that.

If you breach this licence we may end it, and you must delete the file and any copies of it.

Subscriptions and billing

Khidr starts with a five day free trial. You give card details when the trial begins, nothing is charged during it, and at the end of the fifth day the plan you picked starts billing automatically at $8.99 per month or $59 per year. Cancel any time before the trial ends from the account page in the app and you are not charged at all. One trial per customer.

Subscriptions are billed in advance, either monthly or annually depending on the plan you pick. Billing is handled by Stripe. Each subscription renews automatically at the end of its term, at the price shown at the time of renewal, until you cancel it.

You can cancel at any time from the account page in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not refund part-used periods. See the refunds page for the detail.

If we change the price of a subscription, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and the new price will only apply from your next renewal after that notice. If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If it keeps failing we may suspend or end the subscription.

A subscription gives you access to the app as it exists at the time. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue the app entirely, we will stop billing and let your current paid period run out.

Studio services

Services work is agreed in a written scope and quote before it starts. That document sets out what is being built, the price, the schedule and the deposit. Where the written scope and these terms disagree, the written scope wins.

Unless the scope says otherwise, ownership of the final deliverables transfers to you once the project is paid for in full. We keep ownership of any tools, libraries and internal components we built before or outside your project, and you get a licence to use those as part of the deliverables. We may describe the work publicly and show it as a portfolio piece unless you ask us in writing not to.

Acceptable use

Do not use our apps, files or services to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, or to attack, reverse engineer or disrupt our systems. We can suspend or end access if you do.

Availability

We try to keep everything working, but we do not promise that the site, the app or any service will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may take things down for maintenance.

Limitation of liability

Everything we sell is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Our ebooks contain general guidance on managing work and teams. They are not professional, legal, financial or medical advice, and no outcome is promised. What you do with that guidance is your decision.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption, even if we were told such loss was possible. Our total liability arising out of or connected to anything we sell you is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and we both agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of any mandatory law of the country you live in.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase. For subscriptions, material changes take effect from your next renewal after we email you about them. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
